Which Z comes with the speedo/tach needles pointing straight down?

I keep seeing different needle style in different gauge cluster pics.. Can anyone point this out to me? I tried to search but found no results.

Thanks!

all the needles point down when the car is turned off.

All Z's have the needles pointed down when the car is off, as soon as you push the ignition the needles sweep to the normal position, There is an option to disable that function.

Ohh ok, got ya.. So when the car starts the needle goes from pointing straight down to "0" on the speedo and to whatever RPM the car idles at in the tach? But when the car is on the battery only and not started the needle stays straight down? Just being sure.

Also, the function disables the sweeping of the needles?

Thanks.

Like trip's said, they sweep first (clear, peg whatever you want to call it) and then settle at their current position.

Oh, and the sweep is mezmerizing!

I'm not sure I understood that answer either LOL

Don't the needles start from "straight down",
then do a full sweep to "red-line",
then sweep back to settle ast the current idle RPM's ..??

I think everybody has got it right. If not fire up your car and watch.

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." I agree with this as much as anything. It sounds Jeffersonian.
