phelan 10-08-2010 06:54 PM

Sick kit for a show/demo car.

Here are some pics of the car at the Volk booth from the Tokyo Auto Show:

So how much is "soooo much" exactly? Please pm if you don't want to post it here.

eddieconfetti 10-10-2010 11:34 PM

That is beautiful. Makes the car look very exotic and not ricey.

LiquidZ 10-11-2010 08:47 AM

I like that color.

I really like this kit. The front grill is the only part I'm struggling with. Also, I think Volk could have picked a more aggressive looking wheel to go with it.

Humm, not sure. They could have certainly fit face 2/face 3 with that widebody but my guess is they ran spacers. It was too long ago to remember! If those are 20's, then it's probably 10 front/11 rear, face 2.

Should've been expected though, no? When a vendor actually balks at the price, that's setting the new standard for "oh my god you're asking HOW MUCH?!"

vipor 10-11-2010 02:10 PM

I don't like the front grille in style.

The rear looks very odd, I pretty much hate it, due to the fact that it looks to be leaning upward toward the rear.

Overall it's different, and creative, but I think it changes the flow of the car too much trying to look like an Aston or something.

Snakebite202 10-11-2010 07:01 PM

Need s a spoiler too - not a ricey one, but one nonetheless.

Zerafian 10-11-2010 07:18 PM

the front bumper is kinda nice...the rest just throw off the smooth body of the Z...I hate all those waves on the front and rear fenders to give it that wide body. The rear bumper is just bad...the *** is already big enough.

WarmAndSCSI 10-11-2010 07:22 PM

Yuck, that grille is disgusting.

Why can't body kit manufacturers get a grasp of the fact that people want the fascia of their kitted cars to somewhat resemble the stock car?

For that price, they can shove it up their rear. :bowrofl:

AtomicRob 10-12-2010 10:25 AM

My god, I have an Auto Trader magazine next to my PC and it shows a 2001 C5 Vette with 28,700 miles for less than the price of that body kit! :roflpuke2:

Tamon needs to :gtfo2:

Da.Menace 10-15-2010 03:41 PM

1,785,000¥? Fok that.

Joebarchuck 10-15-2010 05:31 PM

I actually hate this kit. I think it makes the Z less aggressive and more like a G37.
