EVO-R front lip - black on CY Z

I know that there is a large thread on this, but I don't want my question to get lost in it. I was wondering if anyone has a picture of the EVO-R lip in black on a yellow Z. I am probably going to order one, and am debating if I should have it painted body color or leave it black. I am a little concerned that if it is left black that it may look "unfinished". If someone could photoshop this color combo for me I would be extremely grateful

Thanks,

AZ

The lip needs to be painted no matter what color you go with, trust me. The flat black paint on the lip is very soft (scratches easily) and was never meant to be a finish coat.

Unless of course you decide to go with the CF one-piece thats "suppose to" come out in a few weeks.

Thanks, cmike. I was thinking that if the black looks good that I would get it covered in the same plastic that my clear bra is covered with before I even mount it. Do you think it would look good enough if I protected it that way?

there are two lips installed already , one white car, one black car. And I have pics of mine on with masking tape painted all white ... the two other pics available are black on a black car and white, middle black, white on a white Z

print NYJon's white Z picture and have your kid color it yellow. :icon14:

My kids 28. I doubt she would do it. I think I will just go for it and get it painted yellow to match. Can't cost that much, can it?

she can probably photochop it perfectly for you then?

yah, you can paint it yourself using some duplicolor paint if you're only looking for matte black. it's a waste to have it painted professionally just for matte black.

It might work, but I don't know if it will look good. I'm in the process of painting it myself after finding some imperfections and scratches from test fitting. After some sanding and fresh coat of primer, I'm just waiting for a nice day to paint. It's been raining the past few days. It looks good with just the black primer and I'm tempted to paint it flat black. It doesn't really cost all that much to have this painted by the way, probably around $100-150.
