It's funny, but I agree. I've been having a hard time finding a weighted leather wrapped shift knob that i like and I don't have the patience to weight one myself. The metal ones look great, but I get tired of roasting my hand on metal shifters in the summer.

I'll have to look into the Sparco knobs a little further. The shape looks decent but I have a feeling that the weight isn't going to be what I'm looking for (300 - 400+ grams).

I've found similar knobs made by Momo and Razo and most of them clock in between 100 - 200 grams. At that weight I'd rather stick with the stock knob.

Yeah, i think stock knob is aroud 220g. Id like one around 500 and i have my eye on a couple. Might end up just paying $150 and getting a TWM type-r

They weigh 350g. Come in blue, red, silver and wood grain.

The blox 490 series is 490g, lol. Got mine for just $60

Where did you find the weight? I can't find a single link that lists the weight and I've been looking pretty hard for the last couple of hours.

I dont see that on the sparco website?

I assume that is in grams.

Since it's listed as 0.35 I have a feeling that's actually pounds, which would bring the weight to 160g....or about on par with similarly sized/shaped knobs from competitors.

I'm going to see if I can track one of these down in person, but I have a feeling this isn't the droid I'm looking for.
