We're here to help.. It sounds like you were able to reach someone today, if not send me a PM and let's get some higher resolution pictures and info.

I don't think anyone can make a determination on the extremely small pictures uploaded of what's going on.. not sure why other vendors are making comments like that.

Urethane, while being a superior material to use, also needs to be prepped correctly, and unfortunately body shops around have equal problems with fiberglass as they do with urethane, especially in regards to proper prep to allow the 3M automotive tape to adhere correctly.

That being said, these parts do come from a mold, and on the very rare circumstance can have issues, we definitely work to resolve any issues. Good thing is you guys are test fitting, which is first and foremost with any body component product, before priming and painting, and I'm confident we'll resolve this.

Fire, please PM me with your information, I'd be happy to check on things first thing Monday, and get our Customer Service Manager involved to ensure everything is good, including working with your shop.

Josh, the customer stated the product didnt fit correctly, no determination needed and then pictures were posted. I was simply making a general comment about some of the stuff coming from you guys lately. I have stood behind you guys for years, I just have seen some things lately from the bumper to the supercharger that doesnt make sense to me coming from you guys. Like i said you guys always have taken care of the customer, so i dont mean anything bad, just think that their alot more issues coming out from your products lately then im used to.

Thanks for your prompt attention Josh. PM sent. I look forward to getting this solved and my skirts on:tiphat: weiboy if the extra was removed then you would be removing the lip that is there that attatches to the vehicle and reducing the amount of tape being used to secure thet top of the skirt.

So it's been a while and this is the update. I spent $70 to send the skirts back and about $50 for the body shop fitment. Thats $120 out of pocket and still don't know if this is a roadster problem as their test car is a coupe. They did send pics with the side skirts on the coupe and they fit well. Anyway looking forward to getting the rest of my pieces installed soon as they have no fitment issues. Overall about 80% satified with Stillen they have followed up my problems other than if they have tested on a roadster, I don't think we can assume a coupe is exactly the same as the factory may have bolstered the area near the doors to reduce flex. Just my 2cents.

Hate to raise this thread from the dead, but Im gonna spend some time this week test fitting my Stillen sides that I bought from a forum member. Does anyone have any updates on whether or not fittment is still an issue with Stillen products? Hoping i dont have to sink a ton of time into this. Also, are the stock skirts held on with double sided tape? Any help will be appreciated.

Still haven't heard from anybody that has done this on a vert. Look forward to your update. Don't think the factory sides are 2 sided tape. Mine where put back on with factory clips with no issues even with side blades attached.

Thanks for the Info. I'll keep you posted.

Had the time to install these last week, so I''ll update the thread for anyone in the future. For the most part fitment wasn't an issues, however each side required some adjusting on the inner lip near the front and rear wheel wells. I was able to use a Dremel to sand off alittle of the lip and fitment was spot on. I also cut a square on the bottom of the skirt near the front wheel and used a self tapping screw to provide extra support and anchor the skirt to the front fender. By the time I installed the passenger side I cleaned it up a bit and used a 1" drilled hole instead (although you'll never see either side this made it much cleaner). I''ll try to take pics next time the car is on jacks. Hope this helps anyone looking to do this in the future. Feel free to send me a message if you have further questions.

I'd disagree with that. The skirts fit fine, anything aftermarket is gonna need some adjusting. That's why you need to test fit prior to paint.

Doing my install Sunday - decided it should be easy enough to do myself. Hoping they corrected the fitment issue with the set I got versus them being the in the warehouse that long.

Anyone have pics of their install? It should be str8 forward. Just wondering where I might have to trim...

Anybody have any updates on current fitment of Stillen side skirts? Was looking at possibly getting some.

Stay clear of the Stillen aero body components/kits, they have had issues for quite some time.

I was hoping that maybe they had addressed their fitment issues since the skirts have been out for awhile now. Back to the drawing board it is I guess.
