Default Nismo Body kit for Cheap

What are your opinion of this kit? Is it worth it? Is the material worth putting on? Does it come with all that is needed for the complete kit? Any help would be great. The only other kit I can compare it to is the one from Z1 Motorsports which is much more expensive. Dont really know all the differences between the two thought the forum might be of some help for this.

That is a replica nismo kit. They made some visual changes. It's probably made from cheap fiberglass that doesn't fit well and will require a lot of prep work. If you really want the nismo look, just save your money and buy the real thing.

You'll be spending more for body work to make if fit properly. In the end, the OEM stuff will probably be cheaper and will definitely fit better.

That FRP bumper is going to be a lot heavier than the Nismo bumper. I would rather get something along the lines of aftermarket bumper, like the Stillen facia if your looking to save. I think it also looks better than the Nismo. I just hope they fix the fit issues.

I'd say the major advantage to going OEM is that PU won't break and hopefully it will come painted.

That said, from what I understand, it's difficult to order the OEM nismo stuff unless you have the vin for a nismo car...

Also, if it's like 3x the price, unless it comes painted, it's not worth it even if you have to have the FG modified.

well, the difference between the Z1 Nismo stuff and this kit, is that Z1 is selling the nismo S-tune stuff (and the rear nismoZ bumper). This kit is a replica of the Nismo Z and not the S-tune, the first one I have seen actually.

We have seen you need a lot of stuff to convert to a nismo, so even with the large amount of body work that will ultimately be required to make any knock off kit look good, it still might be a deal in the end.

I don't know. I replaced the front bumper on my C6 with an FRP one, and the 370z with another urethane one, and they all weighed pretty close to the same. Maybe a 5 pound difference max. Unfortunately, the Stillen fascia has some fitment issues.

cool, I didn't know that. Nissan will definitely be better quality, but you can get a lot of bodywork done for the additional 2900 for their kit.

At least in my experience, I find FG or FRP to generally be lighter than PU -- however, it can crack pretty easily.
