You would only be "posing" if you told everyone that you had a manual, when in fact, you had an auto. And that wouldn't even make sense in this case since the auto holds a performance edge over the 6mt.

As mentioned above, there are a lot of cars who boot their autos. It's merely a cosmetic choice.
