Robin's bar does use those bolts. Its main attachment is the seat belt upper mounts and then uses the stock bar bolts for locating the bottom of the bar. A very nice design, imo.

Auto power has no reference to the 370, only the 350. Why is it so hard to find products for this car?
Robispec and amuse both dropped out of making harness/strut bar, can't find one anywhere.

Sounds like they did not??? If they didn't, I guess I got lucky lol. Mine is awesome. Was a pain in the *** to install (or so I was told). But it turned out fantastic. I'll see if I can post photos. |

Yeah, but he's able to know with absolute certainty that he won't ever be in an accident. You should go find his other thread on the subject. It's something else.

Hey Chuck, if you don't like the flavor, stay out'a of the Kool Aide. And you seem to have cornered the market on being "something else". As an FYI, stay in Houston where you
clearly need to be.

Do what you want, but never give anyone advice. Doing what you did could get them killed. Next time someone asks about harness bars and safety, have a coke and a smile and shut the **** up.

uhm yeah the amuse bar is made from titanium exhaust tubing (not a good idea) slipped over ss ends(also thin wall) that bolt into the weak factory brackets(not good idea) and it's hose clamped together. it's for show only. the eyebolt connections on the bar are even done with unwelded crush nuts, they will come flying right out when they see the 1000+ lbs of force that occur in a low speed frontal impact. we aren't talking 60mph into a brick wall here we are talking 20mph into another car. You get cut off once and you are going to take the risk of at the minimum F'ing your face up on the wheel and bouncing off the glass.
