Yeah, but he's able to know with absolute certainty that he won't ever be in an accident. You should go find his other thread on the subject. It's something else.

Thanks for the 411.

Hey Chuck, if you don't like the flavor, stay out'a of the Kool Aide. And you seem to have cornered the market on being "something else". As an FYI, stay in Houston where you
clearly need to be.

I'm not the delusional one, Kenny boy. It doesn't surprise me at all you seem to be a government employee.

Do what you want, but never give anyone advice. Doing what you did could get them killed. Next time someone asks about harness bars and safety, have a coke and a smile and shut the **** up.

1slow370 11-12-2014 03:02 PM

uhm yeah the amuse bar is made from titanium exhaust tubing (not a good idea) slipped over ss ends(also thin wall) that bolt into the weak factory brackets(not good idea) and it's hose clamped together. it's for show only. the eyebolt connections on the bar are even done with unwelded crush nuts, they will come flying right out when they see the 1000+ lbs of force that occur in a low speed frontal impact. we aren't talking 60mph into a brick wall here we are talking 20mph into another car. You get cut off once and you are going to take the risk of at the minimum F'ing your face up on the wheel and bouncing off the glass.

Hey Chuckie boy,
Go hug your momma, "if" you know who she is! Good luck with that!

Wow...why do you attract dipshits that always seem to resort to personal insults because they are too stupid to understand?

Our tax dollars hard at work with this one. I don't care that he's a retard. That's his right as an American. Be as stupid as you want. But I seriously take issue with him trying to tell other people it's ok to mount harnesses on "show-only" types of harness bars. That kind of **** can get someone killed.

JARblue 11-13-2014 08:38 AM

His logic sure sounds like that of most of the government employees I know and work with in DC :eekdance:

WOW.....

You know that thing you do where you breath in and out....
You should get that seen to.......

Or insert throttle body cleaner up your urethra (anus optional) and spray away....

Or you could find a lonely turn pike one night and drink heaps....and like then drive really really fast - and test your harness bar out......

Or you could just learn to be a little smarter instead of being a fuk - stain

Let us know how that goes for you ken doll.....

JARblue 11-13-2014 10:05 AM

Ken, that harness bar is safe and secure in the same way that your roof spoiler is the only thing keeping the wheels on the ground at speed on the highway :wtf2:

I'm not knocking it. I get a bunch of laughs from it. Chuck's one-liners are legendary!

BGTV8 11-13-2014 02:34 PM

Mods - can we please clean this thread up.

None of the posts on the last 2 pages apply to my original post and this is a classic case of thread hijack which descends into farce, classic web cr4ap and bull-tish, although some of the one-liners absolutely deserve to be saved for posterity in the humour section.

They never replied to me either. I ended up getting the one from outerpwerformance. They responded to me right away and shipped in a few weeks.

They have both a roll bar and a partial roll cage. Comes tack welded. Quality is very good.

Links don't work man, post again.

You can't post links from that site on this forum. You'll have to type the URL directly into your address bar.
