Fairlady emblem
Hey All,
It's my understanding that the Z is known as the Fairlady in Japan. Cool, I got that. What's the deal behind a few Z's I've seen on this forum that have a Fairlady 370Z emblem on the car? Are these just people adding a badge for the fun of it or does it denote something sort of like Cobra Badges on a Mustang. Just curious. Thanks, Eddie |

Yes, in Japan the Z is a Fairlady..but we like to show pride in our cars in US also showing the emblem |

I laugh my tail off when I see a 4 banger mustang with a Cobra badge. Kids do it, but wtf...
Where do you find the Fairlady badge? Not sure if I want to put it on my Nismo, but considering it. If nothing else it would be cool in the garage!!! |

They won't back up their product if the paint starts coming off though, rather they will blame you for your paint somehow doing this and wash their hands of the deal: |

I considered it, having badged my Mazda6 as an Atenza when I bought it in '03. I got tired of explaining it to the unwashed masses. Didn't feel like doing that on a car where people are already asking if the 370Z is "somehow related to the 350Z".

I was curious about it, having read the RHD posts and thinking about it, I'll be proud enough just to run the NISMO badge. But still like the fairlady badging and hope to see a few on the roads in Houston.
I know there are always faster and better handling cars, but DAMN this Z is fun!!!! I've had an 85 and 95 and loved them both, but this thing is sweet. |
