Default Question about the Euro Spec. rear "Fog Light"

First off.... I've had my new Bright Silver 7AT Touring/Sport 370Z for 7 days now! After a few days that blacked out rear light has me thinking, why not just add it in the break light group. This can be seen here on the yellow 370 at the Melbourne Motor Show...

Some 370Z pictures from Melbourne Motor Show 02.27.09

Anyone know of a reason we can't do this here in the US (Arizona) as a mod?

Thanks
L.J.

A very happy new 370 Driver!

Probably depends from state to state. Check with ADOT.

I have the JDM foglight on my Z with the ready-to-install harness. TAke a look:

DIY:REAR Fog Light install with New harness for US spec 370Z + Radar hardwire w/pics

You can buy the harness from TheZstore (or I can show you where to go)

I have yet to get any trouble from cops because after all, it's a good safety equipment. Driving in blizzard (did that), heavy fog (did that), heavy rain etc with fog light on, you increase the visibility of your car. Therefore, cops actually likes you for that (IMO)
