What is up with wrinked cargo mats?
I got my car 2 weeks ago and I tried to put the cargo mat in the sun put heavy objects on it to no avail,so I went back to my dealer today showed my sales person what was up and I was hoping to swap one out for another,he let me go find one I wanted(on the lot)and swapped it,this one is allot better only one corner is up.
How about you guys have you had this problem and if so what did you do to fix it. |
I don't have this problem but could you iron in on an ultra low setting?
|
I have this problem, every single one of my corners fold up lol ^^ ironing sounds like an idea

I bought my Z over a year ago and had the same issue. All I can say is that over time it worked itself out from the heat inside the car. Its fine now.

Come on:shakes head: |
Would getting it damp and pressing down help?
I took mine out of the trunk. Just another thing I need to remove just to get to my spare. |
I've got the same thing going. I might give ironing it a shot.
|
I guess it comes folded in a box so it is bound to have folded lines and wrinkled.

Little moisture, little weight, and natural hatchback heat. Good to go.

I just fixed mine with a hair dryer now it lays flat:tup:
|
My passengers side curls towards the floor standing up. I like the hair dryer idea. I'll borrow the girl friends.

Interesting, I was also wondering why this was happening. Often, when I see a pic of a Zed's boot I see the mat all curled up, looks bad.
|
Just give it some time gents, it's totally normal and it will work itself out on its own just by using it.
