Hey All,
Just picked up my 2010 Nismo about a week ago and I'd like to run the power cord for my radar detector thru the headliner and down the A post for the windshield. I understand I can wire it into the fuse panel. How do you get under the headliner and how do you remove the panel on the A post, without messing it up. Better yet, if others have already asked this question I would appreciate if you could post a link to it. Thanks in advance. Eddie |

You don't really need to remove any of the panels except for the door to your fuse. Use a plastic razor or hard squeegee and push the thin power cord under the panels and ceiling.
You will need to remove part of the door seal temporarily to run the wire up the a-pillar but that's about it. |

If the Nismo has an Homelink mirror, you can use invisicord for easy wiring!
But as far as tucking it in its easy, and use a plastic panel removing tool to hide the wire. Its held on by clips and just remove a part of the door seal to route to the fusebox! Look at Homelink mirror installation DIY, to get a feel for how to route the wiring, its very similar! |
