Door Ding Repair. The Dent Houdini in OC/LA
Well, this is not about my Z, but my 78 corolla.
My idiot neighbor gave me a huge ding, so I made her pay for it. I've been using Ed, the Dent Houdini since 2002, and he does great work. Mostly does the OC, Ca area but he also does some parts of LA. I highly recommend him. Here are pics of the ding and repair. I'm not affiliated with him in any way... just wanted to get the word out for a good guy. He can be reached at 714-556-0660 |

There's a big difference between repairing steel (Corolla) and aluminum (Z). Aluminum can crack very easily when cold-worked; some PDR places won't even touch it. I wonder how your dent repair guy feels about working with aluminum body panels...evidently it takes a lot of skill to do it right.

Ed spent a good 15 mins on it, and I could not tell it was ever dented after he was finished! This guy is the best I've seen. |
