Glad Andy took care of it

I had the same problem on mine, but just found a way to fill the gap for now

Had some left over vinyl from a friend that I just overlaid on the gap. Mine had less gap than yours but I had the fog light off the car during the install. It noticeable only if you as looking directly at the edges around the fog.

That was one option the tint shop suggested, but it looked like a PITA to get the rear fog out. It's held in by more than just that little plastic clip, isn't it or no?

^^ yep, I ended up using a drill with a 10mm on the end of it. I just let it spin until the plastic melted and the whole stud came out.

^^^ Sheesh.

I think the rear fog looks really good, but fvck it - I'll just leave the stupid butt plug in there I guess

I'll post pics of the improved vinyl as soon I have it

While it looks good in the photos, and seemingly comes with its own set of issues, and too that only time will tell how well it will hold up in that location... I'm left with only one conclusion.... Paint.

I had bluebat's "red outs" on my Celica taillights for years and they never peeled or faded.

His stuff holds up really well.

+1. I had his overlays on my G35 taillights for 4 years without a problem. Many G35owners had the bumper overlay and never had a problem with heat or anything.

Doesnt surprise me at all . I still get customers who had stuff on their previous cars from 4-5 years back, some 6! Still holding up well!
