L.E.D. Heaglights Anyone?

I was just wondering if anyone had come across a headlight setup for adding LED's to the headlights like AUDI does I think it would look great. I saw a thread on this a while ago but can't find it.

Leave Lambo doors to Lambos, LED headlights to Audi, Halos to BMW and Altezza's to the trash can.

Please.

mightybobo, you can't be serious. Thats what is amazing about car enthusiast. We can take ideas that have been implemented into different cars, and combined them to make something new, exciting, and all our own. (I think I'm so defensive cuz my ride has angel eyes :) lol)

just look around for a guy that goes by Igor, he's in NY

See the headlight painting thread or check out Lightwerkz or Cincity Designs. This is easy enough to do yourself without paying for it, in my opinion.

Just gotta do your research to make sure you don't ruin your headlights in the process.

Well. There's another guy with a mod for it
Check my new thread. The pics are there also

I've got someone working on the head lights...

I'm going to make use of the headlight dimples. Consider it an evolution of the 350Z LED bumper reflector idea. The headlights will also get a polished black treatment. Once my Z arrives next month I'm going to quickly get them installed.

I'm also working on Luxeon K2/Rebel-based LED signal, parking, license, trunk, dome, etc. bulbs (waiting for epoxy to cure).

I'll update everyone once I get everything done next month.

Call me Mr. Purist, what can I say lol.

But, on that note, that poses an interesting question - if I slap some lambo doors, altezza's and LED headlights onto my car, does that make me a car enthusiast? Even if I knew NOTHING about my own car at all? Just posing an example I suppose - I think peoples definitions of "car enthusiast" varies. Myself, I look for someone who actually understands the mechanical workings and performance of their car, and puts it to good use. Others just look to see if a car is modded - visually or otherwise - and that, to them, denotes a "car enthusiast".

ahh.... toshay mightybobo, I agree with you in some of that. When I see a 1992 lime green honda civic with blue rips, a bodykit that look like it cost $200 for the full set, and a deep blue HID kit, I can't help but laugh cuz he has no idea what hes doing. He just grabbed a bit of cash and went out and bought all the mods he could think of. Hmm... I have to agree, its all in the eye of the beholder

Man I agree with you all the way. Audi LEDS are sexy and I think they would be sexy on the Z if they make it right.:icon18:
