Your DRL's still look awesome if your car wasn't so amazing I would have never noticed I think it might be the actual LED strip the way it was designed, MAJ's seem to have the xenon white and Sim's seem to be the ultra blue, the strips might be designed a little different, but damn they both look good, I was in debate white or blue I ended up ordering the white cause Hawaii Law is strict we can't have any color other than white (I believe it's 42k I have to double check) and amber in front while driving or major ticket and I want to use the DRL's all day, I might just order the blue anyway LoL

Yes, it seems as we have both got different strips.

The site sells many different kinds.

The ones I have are evenly spaced and are white.

Ha after careful examination and installing these onto my car, (came out awesome BTW thanks again Sim and Maj) I figured out the reason behind the difference in LED strips between Sim and Maj. Maj has 20 evenly spaced individual LED, Sim has 21, three are covered, initially I had to count LEDs to figure this out then smacked my head when reading again to realize Sim stated he covered three. Then jump back and forth to JDMtoy website. The link Maj provided is correct for his LED's and Sims. But, The first product for LED listed is the ones Sim have installed cutable every three LED's, The second product below the first are the ones Maj has installed - 40 LED total. Both are shine side, one is cutable and one not....I am buying another set YAY. I also realized that I could have applied them directly to the underside of the HL's after putting the bumper back on, damn. Hope this helps anyone who decides to buy these

Here is what I ended up with
Some Pics of the LED's pre and post install, what I did was wire directly to a source that would turn them on automatically to make them true daytime running lights, the source I used was the second fuse box behind the battery and spliced the wire to the ignition fuse, so they automatically turn on and off, I like it better this way, oh and to take a picture of these LED's was a real PAI with an iphone they are so bright, I had to use flas to capture them in some of the pics to see them clearly. The pics without flash are BLINDING BRIGHT

hmm... i prefer the subtle brightness in the greddy ones... but dont care for the price tag. the less expensive ones all seem to be extremely bright... which looks nice, but i would like subtle for my ride. I may end up with the Greddy ones just for the level of brightness i prefer.

simota: do you have a link to the exact item you ordered? if i went with the products you guys are using, i prefer the set you have with the just slightly seperated groups of 3... all i can find on that website are extremely seperated groups of 3. yours are much closer groups.

Same here, which is why I decided to keep them after seeing pictures of the various alternatives. I also like how the Greddy LEDs stop before the parking light since I don't think the longer alternatives look right tracing the entire underside of the headlight.

The ones we got can be cut to the length you desire...

Also in reality, the brightness looks exactly like YamahaR6's photo below.

It's just that our camera skills aren't as L33t as our skills at spending 1/10th the cost to get a better result

I know they can be cut, I have seen them in person on a G37 at my school and they are a little too bright for my tastes (I was looking for accent lighting, not full on DRLs). I don't care what you spent either as long as you are happy as am I with our respective choices.

Sorry, it's probably the lighting, but my car is Carbon Silver (or Grey whatever Nissan wants to call it).
