I will document it as much as possible, but don't assume they are 'pathetic' just because you saw a somewhat washed out full sun picture.
I agree, if it was an actual representation of brightness, your Xenon headlights would be "pathetic" also. Pictures at dusk would be better.

It really matches the car and looks completely OEM, I wouldn't buy it but it's pretty cool.

the point of these, and by the name, is that they are "DAY TIME" running lights. Not dusk time. SMD type LED's just aren't large or bright enough. I guess I would have to see them in person, but from the pics, it looks like $14 pepboys lights, not $100 piece of kit.

If Christian370z is happy with them, that's all that matters.

If I were to do something like this, I'd want them to be functional, like Audi. Those are super bright in full daylight.

I want them to blind people.
During the day, our Xenon lights are actually pathetic. If you stand in front of the car with your headlights on during the day, you can barely tell they are on. They look exactly like how they look in PontualZ's headlight picture. Since the LED's look to be about the same brightness as the headlights in the picture, I made the assumption that it's just as unnoticeable as having the headlights on during the day. Maybe I'm wrong, but even Pontual stated that it's hard to see during the day. If your intention is for night time lights then they probably look good. But for alot of us who want it as a DRL, they look like a fail. Let us know otherwise Christian.

To make a valid observation in a photo we need to see an Audi and a Z in the same pic if that is possible. This is the only way to see how bright they are.

people its impossible for these to be as bright as audi DRLs. First off the Audi LEDs are hgh quality, second and most importantly, audi uses reflectors behind the LEDs to project the light further and brighter.

honestly these LEDs are nothing special, and props to Greddy for putting their name on a generic LED strip... I wonder what their profit margin on these are... considering these cost like $2 to make.

Wow, you got me good!

That's not why I said to take it at dusk though. The camera isn't as precise as your eyes and doesn't capture the exact conditions. You can adjust aperture and shutter speed for example to make the picture seem darker or lighter. Taking a picture during mid-day washes everything out (overexposed) unless you really know what settings to use on the camera. It basically makes it hard to show contrast between lighting levels. The lighting conditions at dusk are easier to cope with than direct sunlight when the light it softer. Same goes for capturing the Audi lights.

ok so there's a great deal of negativity here

If you're looking for DRL's that blind people or are as bright as Audi's these aren't for you. During the day you can see that they are on and they are brighter than my pictures show, but they are not as bright as my Q5. However, whenever my headlights are on at night they are a great addition and are very visible and look great IMO. Maybe what's ticking alot of people off is the fact that they are labeled DRL's and should light the road ahead of you in a very sunny day; well they don't do that, but you can see that they are on. (I admit my pictures didn't help). I love them and whenever I turn off my car and the headlights are still on for those 15 seconds or so, I make sure to get ahead of my car and get a peek at them.

Again, if you want them to be brighter than the xenons, then these aren't for you, but I think they look great......just have to change out the parking light for an LED so it all matches

Daytime running lights are not meant to illuminate the road in daylight. They are meant to make your vehicle more visible to others. These lights do not seem to do that. They are a nice accent but they should not be sold as DRL in my opinion.

I just looked back at the first post and the LED strip is longer in the "Ad" pictures than what PontualZ installed? The "Ad" LED's extend under the parking light?

That's a good catch. It seems that we have the same number of LED's as the ad, but the spacing on them is different. If you look at Christian370Z's pic you can see that end of the strip without any LED's and without tape, that's the end that goes under the parking light.

For those looking for DRL, these are available from Nissan. Very expensive though.
