Fog lights ?

I know I'm new but why fog lights in the back ?

Visibility. So housewives in Kias don't run into you in the rain or fog. Watch the Formula One race this weekend in Belgium. There's bound to be rain and they have a flashing foglight in the rear.
My advice to all drivers is that lights are not for your benefit, but for the other drivers that may not see you without the lights.

Yah, I use mine in fog for sure. It is added safety.

Not to mention it looks so much better than a useless black plastic butt plug.

So, I should wire it up with the tail lights or switch independently ? Seems if you want visibility you'd want it all the time.

dropped1 09-26-2010 01:02 PM

I have mine wired as a brake light...

CBRich 09-26-2010 06:09 PM

I have mine on a 3 way switch. One position is completely off. One is completely on. And the other blinks in reverse and lights solid with the brakes.
