Scratch on interior door panel (top rubber)

Don't know how the hell this happened but this morning I notice a nice 2" scratch on the rubber part of the passenger side door panel. Like someones watch caught it or something. Since it is that rubber type material what are some options to fix it? Replacing the door panel will be overkill and very expensive I imagine! Argh...

I found the same thing. Didn't notice when it happened, and have no idea what to do. So far, I just try not to look directly at it!

rubber part? i thought the doors were all plastic with texture.

I use primarily Prima Nero for interior plastics and rubber bits. :)
can get from amazon. similar to Aerospace303, but less shine.

The top of the door panel where the window rolls down. The whole panel is a soft rubberized material. It's not hard plastic. On my Infiniti G35 it was hard textured plastic.

I have the same exact issue on my driver's side. I have no idea how it got there...almost just appeared one day! Took it to a legit local upholstery shop...and they said that they couldn't touch the material. As soon as a heat gun gets near it, it would melt. The entire door card unfortunately has to be replaced (~$450). Thus, for now I'm just living w/ it.

I didnt notice this thread until just now, its a warranty issue. Ive had the same thing happen to me and i just took it to the dealer and got a new panel under warranty for free. There was a batch of the panels tho that did that.
