Sunshade ?
Is there some type of retractable sunshade for the hatch ?
|
Yep.
All touring models have it standard, 2010 Nismo models have the correct panels for it but no actual cargo cover. If you have a base model you have to swap out some of the interior trunk trim pieces to add it. |
Why would you need one? Even on a sunny day, no significant sun glare enters the cabin from the rear window. The Touring models come with a retractable cover to hide whatever you have in the trunk. Is that what you meant?

I am worried about sunbleaching ......is it something you can see thru while driving?

Cheap fix tint the Windows.

I dont want a film on the inside of my windows......and I think the cargo cover is not meant for using while driving......and it has to be lowered every time you stop.....I think.....lol

^^ +1 just tint the windows. much more efficient than the cargo cover.
if you decide to do a sub or something down the road it'll be hard to see inside too...which is good. cargo cover could work against you in that situation. |

I primarily use my cargo cover to hide what is in back, from the sight of thieves. I need to retract cover when I load up the back with groceries. The paper bags etc. shift and touch the glass by the time I get home. I do not know what it takes to scratch tint.
When I put rifles in the back and go to the range, they are hidden from all eyes, which becomes one less talking point with the police, if I were to be pulled over. |
