It'll be nice to remotely roll them back up... something I miss? There were a couple of times where a small thundercloud decided to dump massive amounts of rain out of nowhere and not give anyone time to roll up their windows (100+ avg days). It'll be nice to stand by the window and roll up my windows with my remote.

Gunzero 08-25-2010 08:05 AM

^That be cool!

fullmonty 08-25-2010 08:06 AM

Did you know that if you sit on the toilet for awhile you'll poop?

KPTechnologies made a module for this for the G35/350z. I had it on my G35 and used it all the time. You just had to hit the lock button twice consecutively and they rolled up.

I'll see if it can work on the 370Z or if he is in the process of making it.

Would anyone be interested in a Group Buy on the window roll up modules from KPTechnologies? I PMed the owner and he said I could set one up if people are interested. He also makes a VDC memory module, reverse tilt mirror module, locking beep instead of horn, and auto lock module.

I had the window and sunroof roll up and auto locking module on my old G35.

TanLuu 08-26-2010 10:20 AM

hold lock and unlock at the same time for 3 seconds. sound lock will change to silence. Hold again back to normal

ClemsonWill 08-26-2010 01:03 PM

I would be interested in a group buy. I was actually talking with a co-worker (2010 maxima owner) about how nice that would be.

Liquid_G 08-26-2010 02:26 PM

KP technologies is good stuff.. bought his foglight module for my old 2007 maxima.. He's a good guy.

Liquid_G 08-26-2010 02:27 PM

Also you can roll the windows back up by putting the key in the lock and turning it to the lock position and holding it there.

res0zsfa 08-26-2010 02:51 PM

too bad we dont have a button to roll them back up T-T

JayYoon 08-26-2010 03:52 PM

I found that out on my old 350 by accident.....a bad accident it was too. I was at the airport flying outta town for the weekend and didn't notice that
somehow when I put the keys in my pocket something pressed the button in my pocket. I found my windows rolled down, after getting back from the
return flight. Thanks God noone stole my car or stripped it bare!!!

Yes hold the unlock button on the remote for a few seconds or insert the key and turn right and hold to roll down and left and hold to roll up.

Jordo! 08-26-2010 05:09 PM

I just tried the window down trick. First time goes down by half, second time goes down fully -- up didn't work :(

Is there any way to delete posts in my own topic? Useless comments using up bandwidth.

Lemers 08-26-2010 07:39 PM

Is that why I've found my windows down at random times? J/K

Why would Nissan give the windows a remote down but not a remote up? For any situation that you would need a remote down there is a situation that you would need a remote up also.

Trips 08-26-2010 09:05 PM

The main reason is can you image a little kid happening to be sitting in the car hands out the window and all of a sudden the windows roll up by accident? Ouch!! Somebody's going to get sued, That the reason why they don't do that, and other car makers remote windows work the same, my BMW was the same only difference it also opened the sunroof also.
