JDM Password Cooling Plate Installation
Soory to let you know but short of removing the windshield bottle, you must trim the cooling plate. Yes, I will send some pictures.
Also, here's a WARNING, the stock hood will impact the cooling plate on the left near the windshield bottle. You "must" install some foam or rubber on the hood to prevent this from happening. This weekend both myself and another Z addict who drives the Smurf saw identical abrasion marks on the plates. As he has a non-stock hood, he also had marks on both the left and right plates over the battery, etc near the windshield. Again the fix-it is placing foam or rubber under the hood in the contact areas. Sorry for the bad news guys!!

I ran mine for months before my washer setup was removed and had zero rubbing. I did have some slight rubbing on the left side but after a few weeks it stop, cleaned it up and it looks good.

Good for you Dreamer! Nonetheless, both the Smurf's Z and mine showed rubbing damage. It is what it is! You were more fortunate than we were! Keep on dreaming Dreamer
