I got my Fairlady Z emblem in today, but there is no additional glue included. Is the adhesive side of the emblem enough to stick it on? No instructions were included, so I don't want to miss a step.

Followed all the tips today and got it on just fine. A few very minor clear coat scratches, but I was able to wax most of it out.

I believe you said they're overlays for now, but even if they weren't I think these emblems look too big. They draw too much attention to themselves. They remind me of the "easy" button from staples.

Default New silver base Z emblem

The Z Store has a new front silver base "Z" emblem for $109.95.
It would look great on a black Z but kind of expensive.
I will wait for the price to drop.

The Z Store! Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts: Front "Z" Emblem, Silver Base, 09-10 370Z

I have seen some rearranging of emblems on other vehicles. Such as a 2500 Ram labeled as a 5200. Different and makes it stand out.

Thoughts on buying a 350 badge (for the '5') and making 357Z for those gun enthusiast? Could be cool, could scare off some people.

Hmm .. I really wish there were other options than paying $80 for carbon fiber and $110 for silver. I wish I was just crafty enough to put something over that huge Nissan hamburger .... grrr
