I've seen advertising for several brands of replacement carbon fiber front fenders. Particularly seibon I saw was 10mm wider. Can anyone confirm where this width is located? Is it a

Particularly seibon I saw was 10mm wider. Can anyone confirm where this width is located? Is it a rolled lip? Could I use this to attain extra wheel space for wider tires? Are the other brands wider as well?
