Carbon fiber hoods? (links)
 

I am looking for a carbon fibre hood suited for all weather conditions. I was wondering if anyone had some links to some good sites, all I can find is the same lame 2 hoods online.

search the vendor section. Siebon makes a couple, very few choices though.

Unfortunately I can't answer how well it'll be in all weather conditions. It's done well in the sun and had a small rain shower fall on it but nothing more than that. Only had it on for about 3 weeks now but no complaints.

do you get much water running down in the vents, or are they closed off?

Sides can be either way.....open or closed. Center is always open. Like I said, it's only been a brief short rain and it didn't seem to cause any issues. I do know for show quality I will be needing to keep my engine clean(er) than I have been since there is that chance water will be running down into it more than the stock style. Wish I could be of more help.

yes, a beautiful car, nice work.... by the way... if you search hoods, not much comes up so yeah... it was time to start a thread.

Yeah and someone post a site that carries hood dampers for a 370Z, please! I won't be able to use the bar that came with the Z because the CF hood is so light, it causes it to "bend" on one side. I need something to keep my hood up for the car show next weekend....ugh!
