In my area, half the deputies' cars don't even have radars installed in their cars (budget issues? idk). The ones that do have them, usually don't have them turned on unless they're running a trap, in which case they leave them on.

GSP (GA state patrol) uses laser on the interstate in my area, so I only pick it up early if another car gets tagged. If I'm alone, as others have said, I'd be toast.

But believe me, the V1 has probably saved me a dozen times, and in most of those cases the speed would have probably led to an arrest (25 over). I know that sounds bad, but I'm talking country "highways" with 55 mph speed limits with miles of straight aways.

"country "highways" with 55 mph speed limits with miles of straight aways" ....... like I-20, what a boring stretch of road all the way from Columbia to Atlanta :icon14:
