Finally got around to having this done like on my 350z, just with a different scheme. Local member Stanced370z was gracious enough to make it happened.

Resurrecting an old thread here cause I'm considering doing this and going for a more clean look.

Would it be too much to paint the strip on the inside black as well?

Mine had the landing strip black. Gives the car an angry face and looks good

Really like the idea of painting the chrome to color match the body, but I feel the shrouds need to be black or some other color to break it up. Is it possible to remove the checkmark looking reflector altogether? Any pics of that?
