Looks good

I saw you also did the wheels. I've done wheels, handles, front and back Nissan emblems. Side markers next. Nice job. Color coordinated handles is the way to go. I got some Black lug nuts as well. Did you do that also, can't quite tell from photos. You can cover the South, I'll take care of the North east

Looks like you did a nice job! I'm not a fan of all black though. It looks like the car has no sexy lines. :)
|
I've been considering doing this for awhile now.
Looks great. Thanks for the pics! |
I wanna do this as well (and I'm notiving a trend with this and the Mag Black Z Owners lol)
Was it easy to do leaving the handle mechanism in tact, or did you completely take apart the whole handle assembly? I'm trying to find a shop to take care of this for me, but no one is comfortable taking the handle apart to paint the whole thing so there isn't any silver showing. Or should I just do it my damn self? I dont really want to cause I don't have a safe place I can paint it without sand/dust getting all over them from just the air... :ugh2: Effin AZ |
That look so flush... GJ. Pics of removing these parts by any chance?
|
nicely done! :p

Coming along nicely!
|
it looks very well done, and you make it look easy!

i figured sand, prime, wet sand, 1st coat, wet sand, two more coats? but how do you wet sand and what sanding paper do i use, how long should they dry etc? anybody specialize in this? wanna [paint my handles this weekend.. |
My buddy did them for me and he said Sanded them with 320grit sand paper then sealed them with primer then basecoat then clear coat then sanded the clearcoat and recleared them :)
