Radar Detectors - Illegal in VA, legal in all other 49 states. Suction cups illegal? Huh? Stop now.

In GA, radar detectors are legal. I know quite a few county and state cops, and they all agree that if you're speeding (10+ over), they are much more inclined to give you a ticket if you have a radar detector in plain sight. Obviously, there aren't a lot of excuses at that point other than "my radar detector isn't very good, is it?"
