That suks, sorry to hear that. How bad was it? If its a small ding without paint damage a dent removal tech can fix it.

Sorry to hear man unfortunately it's unavoidable sometimes unless you park far far away.

I've used Dent Wizard in the past and it's usually no more than $120 to get them fixed:

The first time I drove my old 350Z to the gym I got a dent and even paint transfer on the passenger side door. It was right in the crease along the door too. Never again did I drive to the gym.

I see you're in Seattle. The dent guy at Park Place in Bellevue is good. They removed that dent for me even in the tough spot and it looked perfect afterwards.

I usually park in the WAAAY back of the parking lot where ever it is. Only ding I have is from wood on the highway nailing my side skirt

Those mexicans and there trailers full of random crap that always falls out. I found a 19" dirt bike tire on the road the other day. Sold it on craigslist for 50 bucks

But yeah this pisses me off so much when people do this. I've watched people back into peoples cars then take off so many times. Its like oh well my minivan will survive. I don't even trust it in my garage. Got a piece of styrofoam blocking the door between the two cars in there.
