This is polyeurethane, and comes prepainted from this seller on ebay PAINTED NISSAN 370Z 2Dr REAR WING ROOF SPOILER 08~ NEW?: eBay Motors (item 270597707647 end time Jul-23-10 05:58:01 PDT)

This is a surprsiingly nice peice and the paint was a perfect match! Includes 3M tape already applied and an adhesive promoter and applicator. So inexpensive and yet looks awesome!

The trick to mounting is to test fit to esnsure the edge doesn't catch when opening hatch (needs to be a mm or two below hatch edge). Mine opens and closes perfectly with no rubbing whatsoever :tup:

Eh... it's mainly a cosmetic mod. I doubt either the Stillen or this knock-of convey any real benefit of adverse effect... just thought it looked spiffy :icon17:

Also... Stillen = $179 in the box unpainted.... this was $83 shipped and comes painted. Deal and a steal by comparison :D

I'm planning on the EVO-R rear diffuser and front lip next (and probably the OEM splashguards) so I'll reevaluate whether this should stay or go after that.

I have the real Stillen roof spoiler, Its a nice subtle piece that look really clean on the car.

Does this one look different from yours? Can you post a pic? I can't imagine there's much variance, but you never know...

Don't buy the EVO-R rear diffuser, buy the fujimura version instead. It fits perfectly with no gaps

After looking at the pics I can tell that they are different. Mine is a tiny bit longer & does not have as much of a "lip" on it. I'll post pics in 1 sec....

Thanks bro, plus I had it custom painted & it looks OEM. Oh and about having it get caught while opening/closing the hatch, that happened to my friend. Def scary $hit, lol

huh, NYJon's roof spoiler looks good. why are these different? different manufacturer? :confused: i thought only stillen made them.

Mine's a knock off, or if not intended to be a direct copy an alternate style.

For anybody who likes one I bought and wants to get one for themselves, I can tell you that the quality is actually very good (e.g., durability, fitment) as is the paint match (and it came painted!).

However, it is a little different in width and the lip slopes slightly differently, so there are some subtle aesthetic differences between the two.

I'm happy with mine for the time being, but I agree that the Stillen one definitely looks better overall.

However, the Stillen spoiler costs about $100 (plus shipping?) and then the cost of painting it... that's probably about $200 more when all is said and done.

I don't know if the Stillen one looks quite that much better, but I certainly wouldn't fault anyone for getting it and spending the cash if they wanted to.

No, they have been selling knock-off on ebay that are cheaper for awhile now. Even with the problems I had with Stillen, I still rather buy it from stillen then ebay.

Yep -- lined up about perfectly, no rubbling, and the paint match is spot on!

It's not quite as nice looking as the Stillen, but the quality is actually very good. Much better than I expected.

Hey, if you get a chance, could you measure the length of the side? I'm curious to see how much of a difference there is. I'm wondering if the difference looks more profound because we're comparing white to red.

Ya, I'll measure it tomorrow no problem. Since the pearl white is a 3 stg. paint, idk how good the quality would have been from that ebay guy.

I've seen several 350z's with this mod and they usually end up removing the trunk spoiler have you thought about doing the same?

Are you talking about the OEM sport pkg spolier, why would I remove that? I think the everything looks good. Im gonna keep the car looking clean, not borderline rice, lol

Well if someone releases a rear spoiler kinda like what stillen made, but not as big & made outta better quality material, I'd be all over it. But for now my options are: mine's CF add-on piece or what to see what those icarbon guys come up with that RCZ keeps talking about.
