Rear Fenders
My previous car (2007 G35) had a piece of 3M clearshield on the front portions of each rear fender to protect it from rocks being kicked up while driving. The car came this way from the factory. I noticed that the Z does not have anything like this on it. I was curious about two things, one, does the Z seem to get chipped or damaged in this area from 'road debris'? Two, has anyone put a 'clear bra' on this area to protect it and if so thoughts? Thanks to anyone who posts in advance.

Ive driven about 11k Miles on mine since i got my Z. Over half of those miles are from Virginia to Kansas, and then multiple trips from Kansas down to Texas and back. Only places ive gotten dings / nicks that i can see are up front on the bumper which im not worried about since ill be replacing it later on in my build.
EDIT: Just to clarify tho, ive had no chips or debris damage on any part of the car other than my bumper.

The Z's Have soft paint making it easy to chip from daily drives. I have seen some people to opted for a clear bra covering the front fascia and 1/4 up the hood and fenders, and also cover the side mirrors. The lower fender doesn't suffer to much side damage to require any protection, the splash guards that they offer help some but it's really not an issue from daily driving on pavement. Different story if it's driven on a pebble entrance road were yes rocks could be kicked up and might damage the lower fender area but thats it. You can have a clear bra installer add this pieces for you if you feel you need them? Me personally I would just worry about the front area.
