Your Opinions Please. Rear Fog Red vs Black

Hey guys, I just finished up painting my rear valence and now I need some help with a decision. Should I keep the fog light red or tint it black?

Default Your Opinions Please. Rear Fog Red vs Black

Hey guys, I just finished up painting my rear valence and now I need some help with a decision. Should I keep the fog light red or tint it black? The pic below shows the fog light installed vs the dummy plug to give you an idea.

Thanks for opinions.

I referenced a few posts with tinted tails and believe that tinting it shouldn't cause any issues with light output. Agree/disagree?

Meh, I never got as wound up as most people about the butthole. Mine is black, which compliments the white IMHO, so I leave it alone. But if it were red, it wouldn't be a big enough deal for me to do anything either.

Why oh why can't someone make a diffuser that eliminates the damn thing altogether??

Thanks for the opinions everybody. I was personally leaning towards red and it seems to get the popular vote here. So I've gone ahead and installed it. Looks pretty sharp and I don't have to waste a few hours today painting it. Thanks again.

Disagree. Tint ALWAYS reduces the light output. Either that or someone has figured out a way to overcome the laws of physics.
I like the red anyway. Which light did you buy?

Function or non-function, which one would you rather have? (should be easy)

Is that light even legal to have in the US?

Although I think it looks cool in red, I'm content to leave mine black.
