roadster antenna

can the antenna on the roadster be removed? does anybody know is it bolted down or doublesided tape holding it

It's just screwed on... I bought a stubby on eBay and works fine. Just do a search on here..

a friend of mine just purchased a roadster 3 days ago and he want to take off the antenna completely. if he does this, will the radio even work? would he have any reception at all?
