I have never used this stuff so looking for a little feedback. How safe/strong is this Black silicone stuff to install cf Bpillars, fangs or other cf stuff? I am

Using Black RTV Silicone to install exterior cf pieces?

I have never used this stuff so looking for a little feedback. How safe/strong is this Black silicone stuff to install cf Bpillars, fangs or other cf stuff? I am used to double sided tapes (or the new VHB tapes from 3M) but I have never used this. My box contained this silicone tube instead of double sided tapes (which I was expecting). If you did use this, any problem in the long run?
