Instead of leaving the vents straight CF, you can fade the paint towards the vent. I've seen it on a 350Z with Seibon hood, and it looks so nice.

Very nice Reaper! Hood pins are always a pain to put in (at least for me) + i prefer to not have to cut my hood unless i had to for whatever reason. But....pins look sharp..idk. You could get a nice colorful pair that would "pop" and stand out drawing a bit more attention to the car i suppose.

I picked up one Of these TS hoods thinking it would be "close" to stock hood weight based on feedback I have read here.
Well if stock hood weighs 16 lbs this thing weighs close to 7 lbs more! It looks great but I'm not willing to add that much weight. It's a boat anchor. I don't think I have felt a wet carbon hood as heavy as this sucker! I may have one for sale cheap soon! Lol!

Yeah was trying to go cheaper route, but this wet is one heavy mother. I think I will work on reducing weight on stocker and put my own vents in.
Probably sell this to someone who is less worried about weight than me.

If you aren't painting it, at least have it sprayed with a clear coat. It comes from Seibon with a gel coat only, which will yellow when exposed to UV light for a while.
