Looks great! I like it. As many said, I would paint the silver grill inserts flat black. Just my As for leaving the slanted area cf, it may or may not look good. I think I have seen flat black paint that looks good but I'm not really sure how good the shiny cf would look. I'm actually curious to see.

Instead of leaving the vents straight CF, you can fade the paint towards the vent. I've seen it on a 350Z with Seibon hood, and it looks so nice.

Were you able to tighten up the passenger sidegap ? I just installed mine and have the same gap, the driver side sits perfect but the other side has the 3/16 in gap

Very nice Reaper! Hood pins are always a pain to put in (at least for me) + i prefer to not have to cut my hood unless i had to for whatever reason. But....pins look sharp..idk. You could get a nice colorful pair that would "pop" and stand out drawing a bit more attention to the car i suppose.

Go with the aerocatch hood pins. I'd highly recommend them. Why risk the chance?

I picked up one Of these TS hoods thinking it would be "close" to stock hood weight based on feedback I have read here.

Well if stock hood weighs 16 lbs this thing weighs close to 7 lbs more! It looks great but I'm not willing to add that much weight. It's a boat anchor. I don't think I have felt a wet carbon hood as heavy as this sucker!

I may have one for sale cheap soon! Lol!

Dry carbon would be lighter if they made it.

Yeah was trying to go cheaper route, but this wet is one heavy mother. I think I will work on reducing weight on stocker and put my own vents in.

Probably sell this to someone who is less worried about weight than me.

If you aren't painting it, at least have it sprayed with a clear coat. It comes from Seibon with a gel coat only, which will yellow when exposed to UV light for a while.

Let me know if you come up with something for vents. It's an easy bake oven at full blast with my setup.
