Just drive your car into home depot for a color match, they won't mind.

Just remember to honk for customers to move out of your way.

Cubarica, Check down in the Vendor's section for MR Works. They have done several headlight mods and needless to say, they are Amazing. Look through some of their threads and see what kind of ideas you come up with, they can do alot! Or look for Marco@MRWorks on the forum.

Also look for member 2theextreme who also has a MR Blue Z and had his lights done by them. They look awesome to say the least. If I remember correctly, he did the exact paint scheme your talking about with black/color matched rings. So ask him about his lights!

DIY: Headlight LED's and blackout

In the first part of my DIY I list the materials used. in those materials is a link to a website that will do exactly color-match paint in aerosol cans for a reasonable price. Pick up RAE I believe is the code for monterrey blue, and some clear and you should be set.

For the black, I suggest krylon fuzion, matte satin or gloss is your choice.

for the custom aersol paint that you got, did it work on the plastic? I've always had an issue with paint not sticking if it wasn't designed for it, like the krylon fuzion stuff... just curious cause i will be doing my head lights soon as well.. ignore my spellling, i'm a tad bit intoxicated at the moment. (at least i'm not working on my car, or driving it)

Honestly, I have no idea. MRWorks did them for me. I would send them a PM. I wish I could be more helpful.

I don't think they are tinted at all just painted on the inside.

That much is true for sure...they are painted on the inside. I believe outside of that they are still pretty much stock. All the goodies are on the inside.

Hey I just saw this...

Can you purchase a headlight like that? I need to purchase 2 new ones anyways...

Or did someone open it and paint it?
