Chin spoiler - is this part of the sports pkg?

Here are some photographs of the spoiler. It is affixed in place through nine (9) pop rivets, and four tabs (two at each end).

The aero package is $650 on nissan's site. As for straight from the dealer not installed, anybodies guess.

So anybody has ground clearance numbers when the spoiler is actually installed?

Same thing happened to mine, except I took it to a tire place and the person parked it right over the curb. A few days later I noticed it was detached at both ends and all 4 clips were broken

I'm going to try and fix it with 3M Plastic Emblem Adhesive

According to Nissan Sport Magazine, the 370 and 350 spoilers are basically the same. Find a wrecked 350, and save yourself some money.

Not to bad! CourtesyParts :: Nissan Front Chin Aero Deflector (unpainted) - 2009 370Z

Front spoiler for my SS was much much more expensive.

Interesting, that would then seem to be a little less than for the 350Z but not by much, probably lower by a few tenths of an inch...

Good find! I'll be bookmarking that for when I break mine off

Owned my 370z for about a week and the spoiler sits really low. I've managed to scrape it on speedbumps as well as driveways. Why anyone would want to get one body color painted is questionable. It would scrape all the paint off in a couple weeks.

Having any sort of aerodynamics on a vehicle, whether manufacturer or aftermarket parts, requires special consideration when driving (or at least when pulling into/out of driveways, etc.). In many respects, it's no different than the need to be extra careful with wheels with partially or fully exposed lips...caution is the operative word.

Now...I have what may be a stupid question so please forgive me if it is but is there more than one (factory) style of front spoiler for the 370Z? By that I mean do 370s without the "sport" package get a milder spoiler and those with the sport package get a more aggressive one?

Edit: I've been using CourtesyParts.com for several years now - they are great people to work with!

The Sport package includes the spoiler, the others do not. There is only one Sport Package design (at the present time) spoiler.

I'm sure you are right...I asked because it looked to me as if the spoiler on mine was slightly different from both ones I've seen pictures of and even one I looked at closely in our packing lot this morning!

There are three pieces to it: the two sides, and the long center piece. The two side pieces are not shown in the photo below:

Maybe someone got tired of scraping theirs and cut it down?

If you ever have yours off, can you please post the part number on the back of it? Thanks.
