question on sound deadening

I have no scientific data to support my statement however I can say that it made a noticeable difference.

The factory bose sub hits harder. Enough to actually feel it.

I can still hear pebbles that get kicked up in the wheel wells but instead of a "ping" they are muted. This is the closest thing I can tell you as far as improvement in a specific frequency range.

I will also say that there is a slight reduction in overall road noise.

thanks for the info, i can sort of visualize what you're saying.
so it almost sounds like the sound inside is contained (bass) and separated from the exterior noise quite a bit. might tighted up your bass even more if you do your doors.

yah, 18-20lbs is not going to change anything on the car. wish i would've done this while i had the trunk liner out.
