Default Y are all bodykits-lips for z34 overdone???

am i crazy for wanting beauty in simplicity
i really want a nice lip for the 370 but it seems all the ones available , including full fascia's are jus waay too aggressive or overdone in their design
...
examples...

ugly bumper's nice lips...

now dont get me wrong to each his own
if thats your cup of tea by all means indulge

but in my opinion the 370z already has an abundance of curves and and angles

i just want a nice super clean lip/splitter to finish off the front
the perfect example..aerosync's bumper for the z33 350z

am i alone in feeling this way???

I am with you. Some of these are not too over done but I would like a more suttle look. They need to take some pointers from porsche.

Bomex, top secret, mines are clean. I'm waiting out for EvoR's lip. Looks promising.

This is my idea of the perfect lip for the 370 (just cut about 2 inches off the diameter)

Something like this is all the lip you need.

It seems IMO that with the 370Z you either replace the whole front bumper or dont touch it at all. The lines of the 370Z are beautiful, and most of these lips take away from that beauty. For those that have seen the teaser pic of the Evo-R Carbon lip, I think it has potential.

Personally i think the Zele front bumper looks awesome
The center cutout is nice and big for an intercooler and the sides are good if you wanna make custom brake ducts

I agree with you. With my 350z I had the Top Secret front diffuser in carbon. It was beautiful and simple. Now, TS screwed everything up by incorporating the fangs into their lip kit. Why? Can't they just make the same front diffuser for the 370z? The problem is that the companies out there feel that they know better than actual owners of the cars they are making kits for. If they just read the forums first before coming up with a kit we would be better off. Parts could be easier to install, look better, fit better, and less expensive to the consumer because the companies only sell (3) lip kits but have to incur the production cost in those three.

Case in point...Zele making a Ti 370z strut bar for $2500 when ARC made a Ti strut bar for the 350z for $500. 1/5th the cost, simple, weighed 1.2 lbs, and was still Ti. WINNER!

Yeah I agree, Waiting for something nice, without all the flare.

I don't see anything wrong with thinking my car can be a sports and luxury in one.

Thats more like it!!!!
Thanks!
Something to look foward to hope they dont screw up the prototype to final product transition like they did with their side skirts

the prototype they gave status had the skirt tucked in towards the front then flared out towards the back

they finally released it and changed it so it sticks oit front to back

dont let me down again evo-r!
