I'm guessing this woud result in serious structual failure...

eh, you'd still have the middle section connecting the two sides. I believe the risk of that would be minimal.

It just doesn't seem like it would be enough of a change to cause that.

But, I guess alot of that could depend on who does the body work too.

I wonder what the cost would be on a sunroof?
