Thanks man. Pretty happy with the turnout.
CF wing is a good investment, quality is solid plus since you already have the holes drilled from the sports pkg spoiler, it should be a quick install.

Guys quick question...
i got my diffuser, put it on, and a few days later the right side has a SLIGHT sag/gap at the top (not noticable unless you know its there and really look for it). because i'm really anal with stuff like this (even though nobody can see it) it is really frustrating me.. i am wondering - is this normal? ie is it a fujimura defect on the diffuser? or did i not apply tape/pressure in that area and therefore thats what has happened? If it is my fault, CAN i remove the diffuser (unbolt it) and re-do it? or once its on with the 3M VHB tape, its pretty much game over? i've attached a pic (used Knives pic and just circled the spot where it is). Any feedback would be great.. I hope its my fault and that i can remove it and re-do it again! Thx Last edited by 370zee; 09-08-2010 at 11:29 PM. Reason: picture |

yah, remove it and redo the tape, double up at the top with 3M VHB.
also your exhaust tips are awefully close to the diffuser... might want to get some washers and lower that exhaust a notch. |

Yea, I'm kinda watching the situation. I have a couple of millimeters of clearance, but I'll prob lower the exhaust a tad when I finally get off my @ss and install my sway bars.

so when removing it, the tape wont be that strong that it will require alot of force to pry off (and possibly risk busting the diffuser (since it lightweight/fragile)?
i guess i should re-rub the area on the car again with rubbing alcohol to remove any of the VHM tape residue? when u say double up at the top with the vhb tape, do you mean to put 2 strips side by side? or stack them ontop of each other to make them double the thickness? sorry for the annoying questions.. just want to get it right =) thanks for your quick response! hehe thats knives car (i just pinched his pic to demonstrate where my issue is) but i am getting the same exhaust so atleast i know i'll need to get the tips lowered a touch |

Yea, you're going to want to remove as much of the VHB residue as you can. I'm guessing after a couple of days, the VHB tape will leave some residue. If that's the case, just use mineral spirits and heat up the area with a hairdryer. The cleaner you make the area, the better the new tape will take hold. And yes, he means stack two layers of VHB tape ontop of each other. It will make for better contact and will most likely resolve the "sag" issue you have.

Installed mine today, Its about as easy any mod could possibly be to install, 15-20 minutes max. 99% happy with the fitment too. Fits WAY better than the EVO-R versions ive seen, so like others have mentioned, it's well worth the extra bucks.
