Default Stickers on front bumper and hood?

Hey everyone, as the result of an accident I had about a month ago, I'm going to have to replace my front bumper and hood. My question is, there is a black VIN sticker on the bottom of the hood and also one on the top of the bumper. These are also on the door and various other parts I assume. Once I get my new bumper and hood on, I'd like to have these. Would it be possible to order these from Nissan? I know several of you have replaced your bumpers and hoods, so hopefully you can help me out.

Thanks

If you dont mind spending some money.... here ya go ECS Automotive Concepts - Late Model Replacement VIN Door Decals Keep in mind there are also local independent businesses that also specialize in vin plaques, it just depends if youre willing to buy or not.

Interesting...how did they do it? Did they just use a heat gun to remove them and then reapplied them on the new bumper?

Yeah, I'm going to have to give this a try. I still can't believe these are on every body piece and you can't order them, lol.

Are you worried about your car getting stolen and parted out or something?

No, I just don't want to get a new bumper that will have someone else's vin that won't match the rest of the car.

It wouldnt have another VIN, it probably just wouldnt have anything.

Unless you found a used bumper.

That's what I was thinking. How are they going to sell a bumper (or any part for that matter) with a VIN attached as it doesn't go with any actual vehicle?

I don't want to speak for otacon, but I think he was planning on buying used and that was his concern.
