Wax/Detail thread
So I've never owned a car that I cared enough to wax so I'm completely new to this game. Is there any link/tutorial on the web that you guys specifically recommend?

^^ I would take precautions and not yet try other waxing tips b/c the Z's have the self healing paint clear coat
I'm trying to get a detailer on here...lol |
Yikes, well be forewarned that once you fall into the detailing world it's no different than the "modding" world. Meaning, you will be spending money and time on new products and babying your baby, but its definitely worth it!
There are plenty of sites out there dedicated to detailing itself. This link is a good place to get a start. Guide To Detailing Detailing can be as casual as a wash every other weekend with a little detailer or as extensive as Paul's 10,000 dollar detail jobs with hand applied custom made Svissvax Devine or Zymol Royale. |

I'm still going to wax regardless. I don't care what kind of clearcoat it has, wax is a sealent and it will work on anything for the long run of the car. NTX wax for me, always has been awesome for me especially with a 10" orbital buffer :)

The 370Z does not have the self healing clear coat...

Actually the whole car is self healing with your checkbook.
