1100 Mile Trip Bra Question
So Im going on a rather long journey on Friday. I dont have the money or time to get a clear bra installed right now but still want some protection. I was thinking of going with a leather bra just to use on the highway and then take it off when I got there.
Does anyone have any experience with these? Also I will probably be getting it directly from Nissan so if anyone knows how much they charge that would be helpful as well. |

Just tape your car up with 3M painters tape. Get 3M though not the cheaper stuff that stores carry. You can do all of the necessary sections for <10 bucks.

I just bought the oem front bra. Listed for $140 but got it for $125. Reason I bougnt it was I went on a trip to PA. a couple of weeks ago and when I got back the front bumper looked like a war zone. Took it into the dealer. I"ve owned many a sport car in my lifetime and never, never had paint chip so badly from one trip. Even the bugs caused harm.
Well, long story made short, after quite a go around with the dealer and Nissan, the dealer has agreed to repaint the front bumper. As soon as it cures a Venture Shield clear bra will be going on, and on long trips even the leather one will be on. Definitely do something or you might be sorry. The leather fits really good and I felt for long highway trips offers the best protection. The clear bra will be great to local tooling around and when I want it to look it's sharpest! LOL! whichever you decide to do. |
