Help Identify Mystery Missing Tools

I noticed these when I took delivery, for a moment I thought my salesman was being shiesty by saying nothing went in there. I guess he is now vindicated.

I wouldnt have trusted the dealer either. I would have been all crazy in the dealership "WHERE THE EFF ARE MY TOOLS?!?!?!"
Dealers, pfft, they do it to themselves.

Socal370Z, here's the official answer from Nissan USA

I believe there are regulations in some of these countries (like the Middle East) for these tools. So just to be clear nothing was left out for the U.S. customer.

Thanks for asking this question. It gave me a good reason to find out about this.

YES! It not about Touring or sports package, it's all about the OEM pliers from Nissan that makes people "go crazy" in Middle east .

Supposedly, there are two (2). I might, and must stress "might," take the bloody assembly apart for a Kodak moment.

Okay I own two Leatherman's, various forms of vice grips, channel locks, needlenose, jewelers, and many standard pairs of pliers. Can someone tell or show me what the hell these pliers look like?

Strange tools are used in the Middle East apparently. Have they figured out something we haven't in the plier department?

Anyone tried putting tools in the slots? you could start up a thread with the title "what screw driver/pliers will fit in the recesses in your trunk."

Could be interesting.

Edit: I keep forgetting to say that I like your "vehicle" BanningZ. That is probably only funny in very small circles like my own

Default Excuses

Mine came with the scewdriver but the "mistery tool" is missing on my car also
as long as it's not something you need like a special tool they can have it.
Nissan should be honest with the customers and not say BS like it's a pair of pliers and the US cars don't get those or the screw driver.
