Considering chage my seat.
Guys,
Did anybody think about to change the seat? or did anyone did it alreay? I heard that there are side air bags on the seat so that if I replace the seat with after market one the computer will have a problem with it and other air bags will explose at any time. I really wanna get a recaro seat. So, please, if anyone knows anything about it, let me know. Thank you. |
there is a diy on seat airbag / passenger weight sensor.
I to am thinking of swaping seats. |
I just put in a Bride Ergo II in last Saturday and the support is great..
I just put in the resistor and electrical taped it secured. I got no CELs or anything.. You will lose the side air bag, but I dont plan or luckily havet been in a wreck for a while of if any.... |

The plug and wiring are already installed in your vehicle. You just need to remove the plug off of your seat and wire in that resistor.

the one shown in the picture? where can I get resistor from? sorry for asking so mant questions, I am new to these. thanks |
I couldnt find the resister locally in Hawaii as it has to be the one in the DIY..I ordered mine off ebay and got it a few days later.
I just put each end of the resistor into the ends of the plug and taped it secured.. I didnt want to cut my oem harness. Read the DIY and you'll get the idea..Good luck! |
