Default Caught a Rock

I've had the car just over a week, was driving my friend to an appointment, then BAM, caught a rock on the windshield. Insurance is going to make the repair/replace cost negligible, but I thought you all might want to see this huge chip.

It must be karma. I have to stop laughing at old people.

That sucks! Here in VA the roads are terrible. I have changed 4 windshields in different cars due to freaking rocks "spit" out by trucks.

Also at 200 miles on the Z already have a small chip near the roof.

one of those window repair kits might work good on that and you can avoid the insurance claim.

how much does it cost to get a window repaired/replaced? I think I pd ~$200 something for my jeep windshield to be replaced when it cracked. Do you have some sort of windshield plan with your insurance? I always figured a window chip is a cost you just have to eat. Unless you have a $200 deductible.

I have to get it replaced. But I'm only paying 50 bucks after deductible.

It costs 1k for Genuine Nissan Windshield. There is also after market right around $700.00. I had mine replaced. Insurance paid all of it so I went with the Nissan brand.

PS: If they replace it.. make sure they don't break them clips that connects A-Pillar to your frame.
